We are excited to announce the launch of 540, Inc’s radio show and podcast Morethanisms on WXIR 100.9
Dear Community,
Remember last year when we announced our first ever radio show and podcast More•Than•Isms? The one where we launched a logo design contest and then let you all vote on the logo? Well we are re-announcing this almost one year later because good things come to those who wait.
“Good things come to those who wait”
Almost one year later the time is finally right to move forward with this new media initiative. Our debut episode will air live on Friday March 22nd at 2 PM on WXIR (100.9). This live episode will feature More•Than•Isms co-creator Mercedes Phelan as guest co-host. In this episode Mercedes and Calvin will unpack local and national social and cultural hot topic while sharing our thoughts on these issues and more.
About More•Than•Isms
More•Than•Isms is a weekly podcast (Friday 2 PM WXIR 100.9) discussing local and national social issues affecting persons of color, women, and other disenfranchised minorities. This is not your granny’s podcast. It will be raw, unfiltered, provocative and real, extending and deconstructing the social, racial, and political topics that have made 540WMain’s Conversations In A Community Room series so popular.
