When did you start your business?

CWL:I have been couponing for almost 20 years but started teaching class almost 10 years ago

Where did you get the inspiration for your business brand?

CWL: I can’t say it was a plan. I was asked by a friend who worked for a non-profit if I would teach a class and that started it.

What makes you want to teach/do your business?

CWL: I love saving money. I find it painful when I see people spending money in ways that don’t need to be.

For you, how does your business/brand relate to wellness?

CWL: I like to think of it as financial wellness.

How do you stay healthy?

CWL: I would like to be healthier; right now I am working to balance my life. To make decisions about what needs to be important then. Sometimes that means spending money so I don’t spend time

What do you feel is the most challenging aspect of your career?

CWL: Balance and time is a challenge. I juggle a lot of things and finding time for it all.

When you aren’t teaching classes what do you like to do?

CWL: Couponing for my friends and family. I love to be creative and read.

What is it that inspires you to keep going as an entrepreneur?

CWL: The bottom line…every time we are able to do a want and not a need because of money we saved. Also every time I fill my gas tank for free

What are you working on now?

CWL: Rewriting my couponing workbook

What’s has been your best experience thus far in your business?

CWL: There is a young lady who is my couponing daughter who is 17. Every time I see her save, my heart feels a thrill. I know that she is setting herself up for a good financial life.

What has been your biggest challenge as a company? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?

CWL: Couponing constantly changes. I have learned to adapt and to change with it.

What advice do you have for others interested in pursuing their own business?

CWL: Saving is a passion and I was able to turn it into a business by figuring out a way to make my life work for me because of my disability.

Is there anything else you’d like the readers to know?

CWL:This is one of the best decisions I have made for my myself and my family.
